Small videointro for the show:
These artists are coming:
Sherie Rae Parker - Bette Midler
Sherie Rae Parker was born in Detroit and grew up in Los Angeles. Not only does she have a fantastic voice, she also excels on the guitar and keyboard, and has a background that includes music, dance and acting.
Sherie exercised a perfect command of the songs and the humorous puns that characterize Bette Midler. In April 1983 she joined the original cast of Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, then as Janis Joplin. She has entertained for the Legends in Concert show in Las Vegas and all over the world. Her unique talent is noticed in today's entertainment field and her tribute to Bette Midler is unique.
M.L. Jordan - Louis Armstrong
M.L. Jordan grew up in a world filled with music and has childhood memories of his mother's love of jazz music. When he was four years old, he saw Louis Armstrong on TV for the first time, and even then he began to imitate his role model. What started as childish play developed into a lifelong passion. The resemblance to Armstrong is amazing - including the easily recognizable grin in his teeth. Before the "Louis Armstrong" record player came to Germany for Stars in Concert, the musician was in high demand as an entertainer in the USA. It all started when in 1977 he appeared at a karaoke bar and sang "What a wonderful world". His girlfriend had persuaded him to take part in a talent show produced by Dick Clark, and there he went straight to the semi-finals. Later, he was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show and found out there, on live TV, that he had gotten an engagement on the Las Vegas show Legends in Concert. He was a permanent member of the team there for several years, and is now part of Stars In Concert in Berlin.
Rachel Hiew - Cher og Jennifer Lopez
British Rachel Hiew completed her song and dance education at the "Arts Educational School" in London, with a Lloyd-Webber scholarship. In 1990 she was awarded the "Best all-around student" prize. Through her engagements all over Europe, she was able to show her versatile talent as both singer and dancer. In England, she has played, among others, in "Cinderella", "Aladdin", "Orpheus in the underworld" and "Joy to the world" in the Royal Albert Hall. In Austria she was in "Shakespear & Rock'n Roll", and in Germany she played in "The Musical Night S:E:T German Tour", "Grease", "Starlight Express", "Westside Story", "My Fair Lady", "Cabaret" and "Evita". In 1993, Hiew played in the English series "Eastenders" for a year, in addition to other roles. On the scene in Berlin, she is known as a vocalist in the bands Power Unit, DiskoInferno and Nightshift, while she has the role of Cher, Agneta/ABBA, Jennifer Lopez and Amy Winehouse at Stars in Concert in Berlin
Chris og Geoff Dahl - The Blues Brothers
Chris and Geoff Dahl have been on international stages as "Blues Brothers" for many years. In the program for the Las Vegas Live Show "Stars in Concert", they have long since become audience favorites with their energetic performance. The brothers, who were born in London/ Ontario, Canada, are not only gifted singers, but also demonstrate outstanding musical talent when it comes to instrumentation. Geoff Dahl masters several instruments: Guitar, bass, harmonica, violin and banjo. Between 1980 and 1989 he played in four top-40 rock bands. Later he switched completely to the blues with the "Uptown Blooze Band" and played with well-known musicians such as Donny Walsh (Downchild Blues Band), John Ellison, Chicago Pete, Mel Brown, Shirley King and during his time with the "Old Chicago Blues Band". Also with blues legend Dutch Mason. Since 1995, the freelance musician and composer has lived up to his role as "Elwood Blues" and repeatedly triggers storms of applause from the audience with his harmonica solos.
Chris Dahl's first instrument was drums, later on he played clarinet in the school band and later learned guitar and piano at a music academy. Like his brother, he also played in "Uptown Blooze Band" and other top-40 bands before he concentraded entirely on his career as "Jake Blues" in the mid-90s. Since then, the two brothers have delighted audiences in the US and Canada, Chris and Geoff Dahl have also appeared on stages in the UAE and in Bosnia.
