Our original legal firm Lærdal Holiday- and Leisure Park ANS was transformed in 2010, into Aarethun AS, due to that the company started with trade in other industries than just tourism. The company has since been started in 1993 in the same Aarethun family and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2023.

Even Aarethun - daily manager and owner, diploma economist and former active cyclist.
Elena Aarethun - spouse, deputy manager, interpreter and language teacher.
Erik M. Aarethun - owner, engineer/ business economist and former active ice-skater, former president of Norwegian Cycling Association.

Lærdal Holiday- and Leisure Park - 25 years 2018

The campsite was established by Lærdal municipality in 1991 and was leased to a private local AS which gave up operation in the spring of 1993. Our family was asked and took over the operation from May 1993.

The bicycle online store Aktiv Ute

In 2006 we started Lærdal Sport and Recreation. Since 2014, we have run the bicycle department under the name "Aktiv Ute" and run a bicycle shop, bicycle workshop and online store.

Motorikpark™ Lærdal - the Nordic's first!

Motorikpark™ Lærdal was built in 2014, the first in the Nordics!

Lærdal Show-Theater

We have two large heated "partytents" with stage, bar, food/ drink service, as well as chairs and tables for up to 450 people. We also provide entertainment: shows from Stars In Concert, other concert artists, comedians, local bands and DJs.
